Our Mission

Fairland Volunteer Fire Department is organized exclusively for charitable purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As set out in our Articles of Incorporation, our purpose is to furnish and maintain firefighting equipment for fire protection in and around Fairland, Indiana. To carry that out, we recruit and train volunteer firefighters and administer the affairs of the department in service to our community.
